Nov 04, 2020, 01:20 AM

Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective, joins BBC Radio Berkshire to discuss the latest tech news and reviews. This week; improvements to the NHS Track & Trace app should help to protect more people. Plus, resolving internet connection speed issues following a powercut.

First Gadget of the Week is the new Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone, as featured in the upcoming Bond film, No Time To Die. An upper middle-range phone, featuring a large 6.8" phone and excellent 64mp quad camera, fingerprint sensor, memory card slot, and headphone port, this stock Android based phone retails for around £500 and scores itself a very respectable 4 stars out of 5

Second Gadget of the Week are the Anker Powerline Plus II range of cables. Available in a range of lengths and colour, and with any connection type you could need, these are well made and long lasting at a price that is often much lower than those from device manufacturers. Listen in for more advice, both on these and how to source other good quality cables.
