There are only sixteen COUNTRIES with a nominal gross domestic product of at least one trillion. And WE are WASTING (soon?) that much money directly.
If we can just stay in the BLACK, sure one could argue that perhaps the spending is not as efficient as it might be in a free market, but at least the money is going to the thing it is supposed to benefit!
But what if we're not in the black, but in a major hole.
And what if instead, the finance fee is larger than the GDP of most countries??
That money is literally coming from us (or from direct debt money) and is literally helping NO government program and ZERO official beneficiaries thereto.
