Trial Of Caleb Flynn Verdict: What Did Jurors Decide After Two Hours?!

Caleb Flynn has been convicted on all nine counts submitted to the jury in the killing of his wife, Ashley Flynn. Jurors deliberated for 2 hours, 25 minutes and 12 seconds before finding him guilty of aggravated murder, three murder counts, two felonious-assault counts and three counts of tampering with evidence.

The verdict closes the central factual fight that defined the trial. Flynn said Ashley was killed by an intruder during a home invasion at their Tipp City home. Prosecutors said Flynn was the person who killed her on February 16, 2026, and staged the house to support the burglary story. His attorneys argued investigators focused on him too quickly and emphasized the absence of a recovered murder weapon and other direct forensic evidence. The jury still returned guilty verdicts across the board on the charges it received.

Flynn originally faced 11 counts, but Judge Jeannine Pratt dismissed two misdemeanor intimidation counts before the case went to the jury. That left nine counts for deliberation, and the verdict was guilty on all nine. Sentencing is set for October 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT.
