A jury convicted Caleb Flynn on every count in approximately two hours. The prosecution had no murder weapon, no gunshot residue on the defendant, and no fingerprints linking him to the shooting. What they had was digital evidence: more than 107,000 text messages between Flynn and his 24-year-old mistress, cell phone location data, Apple Watch activity, apps deleted from his phone hours before the killing, and two AI-generated love songs. Prosecutors argued Flynn shot his wife Ashley in the back of the head while she slept in their Tipp City home and staged the scene as a home invasion. Their daughters were sleeping nearby. The defense called no witnesses. Bob Motta and Robin Dreeke break down what the jury saw that made the circumstantial case overwhelming and why the verdict came so fast.
