Ozala, weequay pirate, has capturedthe bothan doctor, stoke a freighter, and is feeling Cassadine.The good doctor finds unexpected help with a new friend.Meanwhile, rodian mercenary, Draco Reven, and trandoshan juggernaut,Vog Drosh, are having troubles of their own.

The crew of The Last Ride reports success to Tir Dron, Duros governor of Cassadine. Tir reveals that he attempted to manipulate them into eliminating Tonovan. Tir now mandates that very act. Risky has difficulty hearing the death order, and disappears into the red city. As the crew splits up to look for Riskyr, Lan Kai learns much about Del Malvo, the Senate, and the Jedi.
