Why Caleb Flynn's Mistress Didn't Call the Police After He Said THIS

Caleb Flynn allegedly told Alleigha Botner he was up until 4 a.m. trying to figure out how to do it and not go to jail. That was August 2025. His wife Ashley was shot in her sleep six months later. Botner never called anyone.

Flynn is charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence in the February 16, 2026, death of his wife Ashley Flynn in Tipp City, Ohio. Ashley was a middle school volleyball coach and mother of two daughters. Flynn has pleaded not guilty.

Botner testified for seven hours in Miami County court, bringing thirty-four binders of evidence and the record of more than a hundred and seven thousand text messages between her and Flynn. The relationship started in 2022 at Christian Life Center in Butler Township, where he led the music ministry and she was an intern. It turned physical by May 2024, when she was twenty-two.

Prosecutors allege the messages show Flynn discussing wanting his wife gone as early as mid-2025. Botner matched his language about Ashley. They got matching tattoos. She gave him an ultimatum in January 2026. She searched for information about unsolved cases. Two devices with their message history vanished during a Florida trip.

The night before Ashley was found, Botner allegedly sent Flynn screenshots from ChatGPT with instructions on how to erase the conversation. His alleged final message promised action the next day.

After Ashley was found, Botner testified Flynn said something to her that made her heart race. She went home. She erased messages. She lied to the FBI four days later.

No charges against Botner. No immunity. No search of her apartment or DNA. Seven hours of testimony and one question prosecutors didn't have to ask out loud.
