1331: Gunmen attack Jonglei church compound, kill women and children
The number of people killed in an attack on a church compound and village in Jonglei state has risen to 23, after another 3 bodies were found in a nearby bush.
Gunmen descended on Makol Chuei Boma on Monday, and opened fire on the compound of the Episcopal Church of Athooch Diocese, killing the dean and worshippers, including 14 women, who were seeking sanctuary in the church.
